Dear Tourism operators,

Don't we just miss all the fun Vanuatu Moments right now – we would love to be back outdoors living life to the fullest. Until then, it’s important we all look out for one another. For now, the Champagne (or Kava) is on the ice – but our rivers continue to flow and the sun continues to rise. Let’s Keep Vanuatu Beautiful.

The VTO Marketing and Communications team is currently developing a support campaign to help #sapotemlokolturisim during this lockdown period. This will be communicated later this week.
We are also reviewing our planned domestic activities for the second quarter.

In order to ensure social distancing is carried-out, in compliance with the Alert Level 3 protocols across the country, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the ‘Mi Tumoro Vanuatu’ Travel Expo 2022 , scheduled later this month, until further notice. While this is disappointing and unavoidable, this is necessary to safeguard our people’s health and safety during this outbreak.

We’ll update you with the new date and location as soon as it is safe to do so.
In the meantime, if you are currently an approved essential service operating Food & Beverage takeaway only, please let us know as soon as possible by contacting our Marketing Officer – Ms. Melissa BULE (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

If you have an existing takeaway menu on offer, please do share with us.
We will advertise your offers and include your establishment on the ‘Wanem I Open Naoia” online map by Billboard Vanuatu free of charge. To access the map, please visit shorturl.at/wCFGQ.

Finally, please note that our three Travel Information Centers are currently closed as per the Government Ministry Of Health’s alert level and instructions.

We have, however, noted an increase in demand for our beautiful tourism branded, certified and reusable face-masks ‘Bringing You A Smile From Vanuatu’.

We would like to continue selling these to our customers, unfortunately, we are unable to do so. Please contact our Long Haul, Emerging and Domestic Markets Manager. Mrs. Lea Faccarello (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) if you are prepared to sell our masks as part of your takeaway operations and we can organize a sales commission agreement.

Face-masks will be delivered to your sales points accordingly thereafter.

We will get through this Vanuatu – we just need everyone to play their part, get vaccinated and take personal responsibilities on adhering to safe covid-19 best practices.

Take care and stay safe !
