The Vanuatu Tourism Office has put together a list of different camping options around Vanuatu, including location, facilities, activities and price.
Efate - Shefa Province
Top 5 Activities when camping out
Because we know you already have one foot out the door, here's a list of top things to do on Efate if you're going camping:
1. Trek up Vatmalapa Hill, Emua, through Vatupau Beach Bungalows;
2. Strut across the Sky Bridge and zipline through tropical rainforests at Vanuatu Jungle Zipline!
3. Cruise with Coongoola Day Cruise;
4. Watch the fireshow and have fun at The Beach Bar Vanuatu;
5. Relax and unwind at Reflections Retreat Vanuatu.
Location: Epule, north east of Efate

Location: Eton, south east of Efate

Havannah Beach & Boat Club
Location: North Efate
Facilities, activities, and carrying capacity
Havannah Beach & Boat Club can take up to over 100 people. Onsite is a spacious camp ground that has shower and toilet facilities, beach fares, gas and BBQ grill, electricity, power points, bench top sinks, a convenient store just up the road, snorkelling, swimming, volleyball, football, cricket, bushwalking, boat ride (BYO boat).
Bucephale Beach & Camp
Location: Whitesands, south of Efate

The property can take up to 50 -100 people at one time. The location offers a large camping space with onsite toilet facilities, water tanks for rinsing off after a swim, groups can bring their own football and volleyball for games on the beach.
Location: Pele island, north of Efate

The property can take up to 7 people and offers toilet and shower facilities, 3 hammocks, surfboards, BBQ space, trekking, surfing, snorkelling.
Blue Bay Resort
Location: The property is located along Devil's Point Road on Efate. 30minutes drive from Port Vila.

Location: East Tanna

Lonnoc Eco Beach Bungalows
Location: East Santo

The property can sleep up to 15 people. Onsite are camping spaces, toilet and shower facilities, cooking facilities and the owners can organize a visit and day spent on the beautiful Champagne Beach, the group can go on a village walk and visit the Blue holes for a refreshing swim and picnic.

The beautiful Champagne beach located on east Santo can take up to 50 people and has a large camping space that stretches along the beach, toilet and shower facilities, cooking facilities, and tours can be organized for bush walking, a trip out to the nearest Blue hole, and a village tour.

The property can take up to 20 people. Towoc Bungalows offers great camping space, toilet and shower facilities, a kitchenette, and Champagne Beach is nearby for a day's picnic for the group. Extra activities that can be organized includes bush trekking, a trip out to the Blue hole, and a village visit.
Location: South Santo, Tangoa island

Taffuntari Waterfalls can take up to 20 people. Onsite includes camping grounds, toilets and a changing room, and a kitchen available for groups to use. Groups are to bring their own cooking utensils and food. Extra activities that can be organized include a village walk, garden tours, and a trip out to Tangoa island.

Port Olry Harbour Beach can take up to 6 people. Available at the property are campgrounds, toilet, shower and cooking facilities. Extra activities that can be organized on request including a village walk, horse riding, swimming & snorkeling, kayaking, a trip out to the blue holes, and bush trekking.
Gaua - Torba Province
Location: Gaua, Banks islands

Facilities, activities, carrying capacity
Victors campsite can take up to 6 people. Onsite are pre-built huts to provide extra shelter for campers, an outrigger canoe is available for short canoe trips on Lake Letas, a small fresh water tank, solar lights, extra mattresses, pillows. Price includes all meals breakfast, lunch and dinner. Tours that can be organized for the group include Mount Garet volcano tour, Lake Letas tour, Siri Waterfall Tour, Hot Spring Tour, and Boiling Mud tour.
Maskelyne Islands - Malampa Province
Sakao Island
Location: Maskelyn Islands, off the coast of Malekula
Facilities, activities, carrying capacity
Sakao Island can take up from 20 to 40 people. There is a changing room, cooking facilities are also available. Groups are to bring their own food which they can cook. The host can also offer to cook for the group. Extra tours and activities that can be organized on request include dugong visit, a garden tour, mud crab hunting at night, fishing trips, mountain hiking, Sakao island traditional food preparation & feasting, Kava tasting.
Vulai Island
Location: Maskelyne Islands, off the coast of Malekula

Facilties, activities, carrying capacity
Vulai island camp grounds can take up to 40 people. Like Sakao island camp site, there is a changing room, cooking facilities are available, and groups are to bring their own food which they can cook onsite. Extra tours and activities that can be organized on request include dugong visit, a garden tour, mud crab hunting at night, fishing trips, mountain hiking, traditional (Valial signature dish) food preparation & feasting, and Kava tasting.
