Welcome to Ratap Kastom Village on south Pentecost, where we are gearing up to host another exciting season of the nagol in 2023.
Description
Our traditional land diving ritual originated as a rite of passage for young men to prove their manhood. It is also a harvest ritual where our people believe that the higher the jumpers dive, the higher and plentiful our crops will grow.
Here are our 2023 dates and entry fees below:
April - Saturday 22nd and 29th. May - Saturday 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th. June - Saturday 3th, 10th, 17th, and 24th. July - Saturday 1st
Entry fee (gate only):
Per Adult: 9,500vt. Per child: 4,000vt
Price does not include airfares, accommodation, and transfers. If you would like to make a direct deposit, this can be arranged, just contact us.
