Back To My Roots Festival

The festival features welcome custom dances, Tam Tam drumming, magic shows, and flute demonstrations, sand drawings followed by pig killing ceremony for newly ordained chief or for other chiefs receiving much higher ranks in their chiefly titles. The festival ends with the highlight of the entire festival- the Rom custom dance, which is the identity dance of Ambrym Island.
