1. Explore the rivers of Vanua Lava in search of crocodiles (Torba province)

Join a guided boat trip along the Selva river or other waterways on Vanua Lava, the only island in Vanuatu still home to saltwater crocodiles.

Drift through lush tropical vegetation and bird-filled canopies, as your local guide shares fascinating stories and legends of crocodile encounters.
While on the island, don’t miss the chance to hike up the volcano or catch a wave on the nearby reef of the peaceful Kwakea Island.

 

2. Canoe across the crater lake of Mount Garet (Gaua island, Torba province)

Glide across the serene and mysterious Lake Letas – Vanuatu’s largest lake – nestled inside the crater of Mount Garet.

4. Witness the Land Diving ritual (Pentecost Island, Penama Province)

From April to June, every Saturday, prepare to be amazed by the Nangol, the original bungee jump.
Local men leap from tall wooden towers with only vines tied around their ankles. This breathtaking rite of passage celebrates the yam harvest and is deeply rooted in local custom.
