Take a day trek to the famous Siri Waterfalls. At 120m tall, these waterfalls are the highest in the South Pacific! This 8 hour return trek takes you through local gardens, coconut plantations, alongside rivers, over wooden bridges and along a hand-macheted jungle path.

Description

With your expert guides, Siri Waterfall is both a memorable and authentic Ni-Vanuatu experience. This trek is undertaken weather permitting and can be quite challenging. It is recommended that you only undertake this hike if you have a high level of fitness and stamina or have experience hiking in similar (tropical) conditions.

Your safety is our priority. You will be in the safe hands of our accredited tour guides however this adventure is not suitable for children under 10 years of age. If you would like more specific information on the conditions of the trek then please do not hesitate to contact us.

Be sure to bring your camera, sun protection, mosquito repellents, swim wear, water bottle and comfortable walking shoes.

Siri Waterfalls can be accessed in a day from Wongrass and Tammes Bungalows, located near the airport. Start from your accommodation after breakfast, at 8:00am, for the 4 hour trek to the base of the waterfall. Cool off and enjoy a swim at around midday before enjoying a picnic lunch to restore your energy.

Depart from the waterfall around 1:30 pm to return to your accommodation before dark.

For the full Gaua experience, it is recommended that you join this walk with the overnight trek to Mt. Garet and Lake Letas. After spending the night at either Paul or Chief Victor’s campsite by Lake Letas, you can take the 1.5 hour walk to the waterfall before returning to the campsite or directly to your accommodation on the coast.
