The Vanuatu Tourism Office is aware of significant volcanic activity at Manaro volcano on Ambae Island as of Saturday 7 March 2026.

At this stage we are monitoring the situation closely and are in contact with the Vanuatu Meteorology and Geo-Hazards Department and relevant government authorities. We will share updates as they become available.
