The Beach Vanuatu

The Beach Vanuatu (Formerly Breakas Beach Resort) is the ultimate relaxed “feet in the sand” beach holiday. It sits on what it calls Vanuatu’s best private beach, at Pango Road, Port Vila, and welcomes couples, friends and, from 1 November 2026, families. The resort features a stunning infinity pool that falls into the horizon of the Pacific Ocean. Its farés are scattered along the shoreline and through manicured tropical gardens, for privacy, intimacy and seclusion.

Accommodation

The stand alone farés are unpretentious but eco-cool. They have cross-ventilation timber louvers, open-air coral bathrooms and a traditional natangora ceiling. All guest rooms will have air conditioning for stays from 7 December 2026. Choose from the Tropical Garden Faré, set among the gardens, the Beach Front Faré, directly on the sand, or the spacious Family Faré with one king bed and two single beds. All include a welcome drink on arrival, daily buffet breakfast and free use of kayaks and stand-up paddle boards.

Dining

Dining at The Beach is part of the Vanuatu experience, from a tropical breakfast to dinner as the sun sets over the Pacific. At Salt Dining, the restaurant sits on the edge of the sea with panoramic ocean views. The menu showcases the seasonal flavours of the South Pacific. At Salt Bar, you can enjoy tropical cocktails, cold beers, a hand picked wine list and share plates, with Happy Hour from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options are available on request.

Experiences

The Beach is a hive of activity every day, built around Vanuatu culture, the local environment and fun for its own sake. Guests can snorkel on the reef, join a guided snorkelling tour, take the sunset cruise around Port Vila harbour, or visit Ifira Island to learn traditional cooking and kustom rituals. Surfers have left and right breaks on the doorstep.
