Reef Explorer - Watersports Port Vila

The Perfect Family Adventure! If your Family group is bigger than 6 we are able to accommodate you with a maximum of 12 passengers, however we can only cater to 6 in the viewing room at one time.

Climb aboard the Reef Explorer and settle into the viewing cabin. Through the windows, coral gardens and colourful fish pass by while your guide talks you through what you are seeing. You stay dry for the whole hour, there is no swimming and no snorkelling required.

It is a gentle, easy trip from our office on the Port Vila Seafront, next to Nambawan Cafe. We keep standard departures to six guests so everyone has a comfortable view. Duration: 1 hour

Please note: there are four steep steps down into the cabin. Children must be with an adult. Included: boat trip, safety briefing, life jackets, and local commentary. You may see tropical reef fish, coral, and sometimes a turtle — wildlife is never guaranteed, which is part of the charm.

Meet us at Watersports Port Vila, about a three-minute walk from the cruise tender. Open Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Closed weekends. If you are on a weekday cruise, we time the trip to get you back with time to spare, and we refund you in full if your ship does not call.

We run trips on the hour every hour, and our price for 13 yrs+: 5,000 VT ($65 AUD). 6–12 yrs: 2,500 VT ($32 AUD). Under 5 yrs FREE. Our customers can pay cash and by credit card.
