What facilities come with each bungalow at Fortunate Lodge?

Each bungalow includes a private ensuite, queen and single beds, an electric kettle, tea and coffee supplies, sugar, and an iron and ironing board and clothing rack. We have hot water showers and filtered water from the tap.

Does Fortunate Lodge serve food and drink on-site?

Yes, The Dine House restaurant serves French cuisine across breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. There is also a pub-style bar, a kava corner, and Tanna coffee available any time.

Can I try kava at Fortunate Lodge?

Absolutely. Kava tasting is available on request, and we are happy to walk you through the process and the cultural traditions behind it.

Is Fortunate Lodge suitable for families?

Each bungalow at Fortunate Lodge sleeps a couple and one child, with a queen bed and a single bed, plus a private ensuite bathroom.

Cancellation Policy

8% Non-Refundable Fee: Regardless of the timing of the cancellation, 8% of the total booking cost is non-refundable. This fee applies also in weather-related cancellations. For other refunds, the provider will adhere to their specific cancellation policy highlighted below:

  • 14+ Days Cancellation: 90% refund if cancelled at least 14 days (or more) before the booking start date.
  • 7 Days Cancellation: 75% refund if cancelled at least 7 days before the booking start date.
  • 48 Hours Cancellation: 50% refund if cancelled at least 48 hours before the booking start date.

Banking Fees: Due to extremely high banking costs in Vanuatu, travellers are responsible for international banking fees that apply when issuing a refund.

Insurance: Travellers are advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers travel refunds to complement this policy.
