Description
Join a local tour guide on a 1 ½ hour scenic walk explaining the purpose and history of this beautiful Mangrove conservation area and how it assists in providing habitat for species and cleansing the environment. Learn about the six different types of mangrove, some of the endemic trees, birds, geckos, snakes, and of course crabs.
Description
You will learn the uses of the trees in hunting and house construction before arriving back at Amal-Crab Bay Ecological Education Centre where they will provide fresh tropical fruit and refreshments. This is an opportunity to view posters and have any questions answered about the centre and the species they help to preserve before having a refreshing swim from the beach.
