Sea Breeze Bungalows

Description

Onsite Restaurant serves guest's breakfast which is included in the bungalow rate. Throughout the day, lunch and dinner is also served to guests as well as day visitors. The bungalow's mouth watering seafood platter which features the lobster in season and fish drenched in coconut milk is not to be missed!

There are 2 bungalows onsite that can accommodate a family and a couple, simillarly 2 singles. Each bungalow consists of a wooden spacious deck with the most breath-taking view of the open ocean. Each bungalow has an ensuite toilet and shower facility.

Background: The UniSA Design construct program was invited to Port Resolution in 2012 to assist the local community in generating a stable income.

Our student designed and built the bungalows provides a hands-on construction experience in a tropical climate. Although not only worked on by the students, but with support by the Port Resolution community who have been an inaugural part of the building process.

David the land owner and nearby villagers sourced and delivered many of the building materials from the surrounding natural environment which they used to build the property.

Each year, a group of students travel to Vanuatu to continue the construction as part of the project's development and at current, there is one completed and fully furnished bungalow as well as the iconic 'Volcano Bar'.
