Day One: Efate – Port Vila

Arrive in Port Vila and start the week off with dinner at one of the many restaurants in town or at your hotel.  Vanuatu offers a variety of culinary experiences for all food lovers from French cuisine to modern Asian-fusion and delectable local fresh seafood.

Day Two: Tanna

Morning

Tanna - Mt Yasur 2 FB

Depart Port Vila for Tanna (a 40 minute flight with Air Vanuatu – allow one hour for check-in time forall domestic flights and note there is a provincial departure tax of VT200/person to pay at each domestic airport after your check-in).

Afternoon/Evening

Take the Mount Yasur volcano tour by 4-wheel drive which takes you across the island through villages and picturesque scenery.  Crossing the moonscape ash plains of Mount Yasur Volcano, your guide will bring you to the crater’s edge for an awesome volcanic pyrotechnic experience of one of the world’s most-accessible active volcanoes. Feel Yasur’s rumble beneath your feet and watch nature’s firework display.  Start the tour in the afternoon to see the mighty Yasur fireworks display really come to life at nightfall.  

 

Day Three: Tanna

Tanna - Cultural Village FB

 

Take a cultural tour to experience life that remains largely uninfluenced by western culture. There are several different tours to Tanna’s Kastom Villages where locals take you through their customs and culture, and share their knowledge of traditional medicine, crafts and styles of cooking. You will be entertained with custom dancing demonstrations. Be inspired by a completely different way of life. Your island bungalow or resort on Tanna would be able to organise and book your tour.

 

 

Day Four: Tanna

In the morning head underwater at the Lemnap underwater cave. A quick duck dive brings you into the stunning grotto that is 60 metres in diameter with a five-metre hole in the top through which streams sunlight turning the water into a beautiful turquoise blue.

Afternoon

In the afternoon depart Tanna for Port Vila (Allow one hour for check-in time for all domestic flights and note there is a provincial departure tax of VT200/person to pay at each domestic airport after your check-in).

 

Day Five: Efate – Port Vila

Morning

Take one of the many tours on offer from, jet skiing, snorkelling, kayaking, horse riding, waterfalls, zip lining and many more. Then be back at your resort or Port Vila in time for lunch!

Afternoon

Spend the afternoon shopping and getting some duty free goods. Port Vila is Vanuatu’s only duty-free port and a shopper’s delight with its colourful blend of French, English and Melanesian cultures. French perfume, champagne and patisseries can be found alongside the handicraft markets, souvenir outlets, jewellery and gift shops, and fashion wear including brightly coloured sarongs and-printed t-shirts, board shorts and beachwear.

 

Day Six: Efate – Port Vila

Tone down after an intense six days and indulge your senses with an array of divine day-spa magic available at many resorts and dedicated spas. Evening

Enjoy a picturesque sunset cruise of Port Vila Harbour. Sip on champagne and munch on freshly made gourmet finger foods. Enjoy the beautiful tropical sunset, good company, music, great catering, and see the moon come up over the water as you cruise in paradise, and for couples, it can get very romantic on tranquil waters.

Day Seven: Efate – Port Vila

Depart Port Vila (please allow yourself two hours for check in for your International flight, and remember that international departure tax is in included in your airline ticket).
