Your walk takes you through the bush, and your guide will point out some of the plants and their uses – either as food, medicine, or as tools. You may gather crops and fruit along the way to go towards your wild food lunch.

About 20 minutes in there’s a wonderful view, and a nice spot to draw your breath, then a short time later you’ll head down the incline to the river. You’ll have a chance to swim and refresh, then gather wood and prepare the fire to cook your catch. The prawns are plentiful in the fresh running water, and you and your guides will soon have gathered enough for your feast.
