Day One: Efate – Port Vila

Arrive in Port Vila

Explore the town, dine in one of Port Vila’s many restaurants and re-adjust to ‘island time’.

Day Two: Santo – Luganville

Transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Santo (Allow one hour for check-in time for all domestic flights and note there is a provincial departure tax of VT200/person to pay at each domestic airport after your check-in).

Your first stop for an afternoon of ultimate relaxation and sun soaking will be at one of Santo’s pristine beaches. Head straight up the east coast of the mainland and in an hour and half you will get to Champagne Beach, one of Vanuatu’s most beautiful beaches. The crystal blue water and towering cliffs make this place a very special one.  Or head on a bit further and get to Port Olry to have a local seafood lunch on the powder white sands.

Day Three: Santo

Head to one of Santo’s pristine blue holes for a swim. These crystal springs are true natural wonders where crystal clear fresh water comes to the surface through layers of limestone and coral producing water of jewel quality blue.

Or dive the legendary SS President Coolidge, a historical moment suspended in time, starting at a depth of 20 metres it’s the largest wreck in the world accessible to divers from shore and only five minutes from the launching pad.

Day Four: Santo to Pentecost Island

Each Saturday between April and June you can take a day trip to Pentecost island to see the daring land diving ritual.  Take a flying day trip or for the more intrepid, you can also arrange to stay on the island in a local bungalow.

Please Note: You can also take day trips to Pentecost from Port Vila to see the land diving between April and June

Day Five: Pentecost Island or Santo

If you opted to stay in one of the local bungalows on Pentecost you arrange tours with your bungalow owner such as custom village tour, hiking, snorkelling, paddle on outrigger canoe, and visiting historical sites and land marks.

If you stayed on Santo why not head out to enjoy one of the many islands and arrange a picnic and snorkelling trip! Bliss.
