PENAMA Day is the provincial day off for the people of Penama Province. It is the official day the government has set aside for this province and its people to gather and celebrate their unity as a province. Main celebrations are usually held in the Penama Provincial Government Headquarters in Saratamata, Ambae Island. However, with the recent volcanic eruptions of the Manaro volcano on Ambae, the Headquarters has temporarily relocated to the island of Santo. In the Capital of Port Vila, people of PENAMA gather to celebrate this day with lots of activities at Saralana Park.
