Say Halo to Inneth Chillia

"Teiao merie", it means good morning in my local dialect.

Hi my name is Inneth Chillia and a very warm welkam to this beautiful slice of paradise which we call home, Vanuatu.

I come from Mele village which is the biggest village in Vanuatu, in the island of Efate with a total population of nearly 5,000 people.

Both my parents are from the village and we are all part of the chiefly clan.

I am a local masseuse and I have my own beach massage business overlooking towards the lapping waves and Hideaway Island in the not too far distance.

My most popular days are on cruise ship days when I sometimes end up with over 40 clients, but I never get tired of doing what I love doing as it comes with the many years of experience I have had in the job.

I have over 20 years of experience in spa, massage, and beauty therapy working for over 4 resorts and health and beauty companies.

I am proud to be working in tourism because it is a top job for me and my other cousins and aunties who are also selling handicrafts and cooking up a feast for the tourists when they get to Mele bay, where the mamas colourful market stalls are and where I set up my beach massage booth.

I have been running my little business for over 7 years now and I absolutely love it. I appreciate especially, meeting new people and making new friends with my guests and visitors.

And you know what, I wont mind adding you to my list the next time you drop by so if you do come by Hideaway island, swing by to my booth and say hi.

Lukim yu!
