We are excited to commence yet another year of working with Industry members, partners and stakeholders towards tourism recovery. A year that will be filled with media famils, trade reconnections, market campaigns and visitation from both our international and domestic guests.

Dear Industry Partners,
The Vanuatu Tourism Office is proud to announce that the 18th edition of the Inaugural Toktok Vanuatu will be taking place this year, after the last edition in 2019.
TOKTOK is the signature tourism trade event in Vanuatu which brings together agents, wholesalers, media, airline partners and market-ready tourism businesses, to showcase what Vanuatu has to offer to the world.
Each year, approximately over 50 tourism trade partners, wholesalers, media and airline partners from around the globe are invited to join TOKTOK Vanuatu to discuss business opportunities, media and PR, aviation connectivity, travel famil itineraries, product packaging and further promotion of Vanuatu as desired holiday and adventure destination.
The team at the Vanuatu Tourism Office together with its partners and sponsors will be hosting its 18th edition of the TOKTOK Vanuatu event, from the 26th of August to the 2nd of September 2023 with the theme centred around ‘Reconnecting, Resetting & Recovery’ with the tagline of ‘The Moment you Answer the Call of Vanuatu’’. The dates mentioned are tentative and are subject to change. We will make sure to keep you updated as we progress along with the planning.
Pre-covid, Vanuatu’s total tourism receipts contributed up to 18% of the country’s annual GDP, making it one of the main economic drivers of the country. The recent IMF 2023 Mission summary report further reaffirmed that the recovery of the industry will further contribute to a 3.4% economical growth. This confirms that growth is expected to strengthen in 2023.
The 2022 International Visitor Survey (IVS) outlined that holiday visitors represent 66% of the market as compared to 74% in 2019. This definitely outlines that reconnecting, resetting and recovery of our business relationship with the market is critical and TOKTOK Vanuatu provides the best platform for many of our partners to experience the look and feel of the product offering in Vanuatu from 2023 onwards.
As Vanuatu re-opens its doors, there has been the emergence of new offering, new travel demands and new niche opportunities therefore, TOKTOK Vanuatu provides us with the perfect opportunity to showcase our products, attractions and activities through a program of familiarisation to a variety of locations throughout the country and we hope you can join us this year.
2023 TOKTOK Vanuatu Objectives
Our objectives for this year’s TOKTOK Vanuatu event:

To provide travel trade partners in short-haul and long-haul markets the opportunity to reconnect, reset, recover and re-establish relationships and connections with products and experiences in Vanuatu

To provide the travel trade partners with the confidence to continue selling Vanuatu products and the destination to their customers

Out & About in Vanuatu
Our consumer incentive campaign, in partnership with Hot Spots Vanuatu, is still currently running with amazing deals on selected tours available in Efate, Santo and Tanna.
We invite the industry to promote these deals by inviting your guests to collect these vouchers, either from our Travel Information Centers or they can download directly on the App.
You can also come and collect these vouchers from our outlets, to display at your own Tour Desks.
All they have to do is present the vouchers and redeem the rewards.
